Its been one year since we started the Radio Idli initiatives. Sailing through its own ups and downs, we seem to have fared satisfactorily in making the community across the world aware of the rich talents we have within us!

The journey gets more interesting every moment, and here we are back with the stars of Radio Idli!

Exactly a year after Amit Savkur made his debut on our site with the same song, Bhavya features an unplugged version of the same song. Thanks to Sooraj Kamath, our southern scout :-) for bringing this song to us.

Shri Mangesh - Shantadurga Darshan - Courtesy Kumar Sanjeev

Saraswat ancestral heritage and our cultural diversity across the west coast is evident from the uniqueness of our Kuladevasthaans (family temples) located around Gomaantak (Goa).

Shri Mangesh and Shri Shantadurga and many of our family deities have been our guardian Deities throughout ages of colonialism and now - globalization :-). They have been instrumental in holding our families firmly to our roots.

"Kumar" Sanjeev (Ghotgalkar) gives us the wonderful Darshan of these deities along with melodious bhajans sung by prominent singers like Sachin Pilgaonkar (known better for his acting in Hindi and Marathi cinema/stage). An engineer by profession, Sanjeev has undertaken many projects in music dedicated to various Shrines.

In the present Album - "Aalo Mi Tujhya Bhetila", Sanjeev aims at serving the GSB community with an invaluable Darshan of Shri Mangesh Shantadurga. Two songs videos from the album are shared in this post.
